Zero-Hour Virus Blocking
YCG Email Threat Protection blocks email viruses using five separate layers of redundant anti-virus filters including leading technology from McAfee and Authentium. Senders exhibiting malicious behavior are blocked in real-time. Virus and worm signatures are updated every sixty seconds. YCG's unique, multi-layered approach ensures that threats are blocked from reaching all users, including mobile users.
Anti-Phishing and Fraud Protection
YCG's Email Threat Protection protects SMBs from fraud by applying sophisticated intelligence designed specifically to stop phishing — the act of soliciting personal information via email. This greatly reduces both employee and company exposure to fraud and theft.
Message Queuing
Living in South Florida this is the most important feature of YCG's Email Threat Protection. When the mail server(s) are down for any reason, we will queue all email, and when the server(s) come back online we deliver the mail. This way no mail is ever left behind.
Harvest Attacks
Exchange email is handled from the Active Directory. We add those users to the base filter, and if emails come in for someone not on that list, those emails are rejected on contact. This saves your servers from having to send the non-delivery emails back to senders.
IP Address Restricted
All mail that is sent to or from your server will be only allowed from YCG's Email Threat Protection. We set up your firewall(s) to only allow mail coming in for our IP Address Ranges. This saves your servers from becoming a relay server for spammers, and other unknowns.
Allowed and Blocked Sender, Domain and IP Address Lists
For additional control, business owners or users can allow or block individual or group sender addresses or domains. YCG can also allow or block entire IP addresses or ranges. This provides companies with maximum flexibility and control over email operations.
